I think that this was perhaps the loveliest wedding I have ever been to, maybe it's because it wasn't a 'wedding.'Two friends today committed to each other in a very heartwarming ceremony in Pier Park today. I was happy and fortunate to be able to attend the ceremony. They didn't sign any documents, they didn't involve the state. It was just them, their family and friends. Absolutely wonderful. The ceremony took place underneath a tree and it began to lightly sprinkle towards the end of the ceremony, just enough to make some leaves fall. Then the sun came out as soon as it concluded. Ahhhhhh.
