to the nines

Tonight we had a late birthday party for V! and Wendy. It was a cocktail party and a lot of our friends were all glammed up which is quite a change from our usual party attire. We had awesome hors d'œuvres, nice decor and a whole lot of drinks. I made several different types of martinis for the first time. Normally I'm one of the first to ditch out on the party, even if it's at my house but I enjoyed this one and stayed up for quite a while.
